Konfor is a flat-pack cat shelter designed for a furniture brand’s advertising campaign. Responding to the widespread need for protected resting spaces for street cats in Türkiye, the project applies familiar furniture-production techniques to a simple form of urban care.

The shelter is produced from laser-cut MDF panels that connect through an interlocking slot-fit system. Its economical material use and compact component structure allow it to be manufactured quickly, transported flat, and assembled easily with minimal resources.

A raised base protects the interior from direct ground contact, while the enclosed volume and sloping roof create a sheltered place for cats to rest. Designed for repeatable, low-cost production, Konfor transforms an accessible sheet material into a practical and scalable street animal shelter.
